Today’s post takes me out of my (temporary) living quarters in my parent’s basement and out to one our local farms. It also features some free fall stock photos for you to use on your blog, decor, etc.
For the past 4 years my mom, sister and I have been going to Tuken’s Farm out in New Lebanon, Ohio for apple picking, pumpkin patch diving and, as of the last 3 years, petting zoo and photos with the kids. This year they were old enough to actually pick apples, albeit not always the best ones…
Poor M is in the middle of a battle with croup and my nephew is just getting over strep throat. They were quite a hoarse bunch this year. Melody initially just wanted to ride in the wagon. Notice the sundress by the way? It was still in the upper 80s for our trip! The hottest it’s been in October since 1900.
But eventually she decided to get out and stroll the fields. I almost couldn’t round her up to go get pumpkins. Speaking of which, check out these beauties:
I make it a habit to take my camera with me and grab shots of the orchard as well as the pumpkin display they have. This year I’ve decided to give some of the fall stock photos for you.
All you have to do is sign up for my newsletter email address below and I’ll send you the link to the free fall stock photos. And don’t worry, I would NEVER share your email with anyone. (I also won’t spam you with excessive emails either.)
And in case you’re wondering what I’m planning with all our apples, I’ll let you in an upcoming recipe. I got the inspiration for it from the unusual weather we’ve been having. Stay tuned for the recipe!
