It’s now less than ten days to Christmas. Have you gotten your shopping done? I know I still have a little bit left. Everything got delayed a bit as we moved in to our new house at the beginning of the month. Now that things have settled down I’m trying to catch up.
An Elegant Holiday Gift
Despite the move I still felt the urge to make some handmade gifts this year, especially taking advantage of my Cricut (which was a Christmas gift last year).
Things I love about farmhouse decor is that it reminds us of how beautiful simplicity can be. These coasters are composed of simple, white tiles decorated with skinny, handwriting style holiday words. It’s a simple and classic design they can be used for holidays to come.
To help you guys with this project I’ve created a free SVG file that you can download and have your Cricut or Silhouette cut out. As a bonus I’ve included four additional words.
How to Make the Coasters
To make the coasters you’ll need:
Then it’s just a matter of a cutting out the letters and attaching them to the tiles. If you’re new to working with vinyl on Cricut, you’re in luck. I’ve created a video tutorial on how to make the holiday coasters.
With the low cost and beautiful results you can even make these in bulk to give away to as many family and friends as you like!
