If you hadn’t had the opportunity to check out the website Bloglovin, I strongly urge you do! This site is a great place to follow all of your favorite blogs and it aggregates all of their content into one nice, elegant feed. And to give you some starter feeds to your own blogroll, I’m listing my seven favorite blogs to follow below:
1. Little Coffee Fox
Shelby is the creator of the wonderful online e-course Uninstalling Procrastination. Her blog, Little Coffee Fox, features bullet journaling as well as keeping your life organized. She has a number of tutorials on watercolors and lettering that provide great inspiration for your Bullet Journal layouts. I hope someday to be able to mimic her skills, but for now, I prefer to keep my journal on the minimalist side.
2. A Beautiful Mess
A Beautiful Mess is quite literally that: a beautiful mess. Elsie and Emma are sisters that feature everything from home decor to recipes to trendy baby toys. What I love about their site is the bright colors and the genuineness of their writing. They also feature beautiful photography with their posts.
3. Half Baked Harvest
Tieghan is the food blogger of the mountains. She started her blog, Half Baked Harvest, back in 2012 as a way to feature recipes that she used to feed her family. (She is one of nine!) Since then she’s gone on to be featured in multiple websites including The Cooking Channel, Food Network, HGTV, Crate & Barrel, Shape Magazine, Self Magazine, the Huffington Post, and PopSugar, among others.
4. The Postman’s Knock
Calligraphy is something I’ve always wanted to learn, and thanks to Lindsey over at The Postman’s Knock, I am! She features some amazing envelope designs but also has printables that you can buy to learn various styles of calligraphy. My favorite happens to be the Katlin style but I also like the “Not Your Average Calligraphy Drills” as well. I love the ability to make art from pen strokes. She is also a big proponent of faux calligraphy when you’re just starting out.
5. The Everygirl
Everygirl is another lifestyle blog with a variety of post subjects and a clean layout. They do a lot with home decor, recipes and a dozen other subjects that you might find interesting. Some of my favorite posts feature topics on ways to get healthy both physically (such as Whole30) and mentally (meditation).
Bonus Andie Mitchell
And as a bonus, the wonderful blog by Andie Mitchell. Andy is one of the most inspiring loggers on my list. She started writing her blog on food after battling both obesity and an eating disorder. Her memoir “it was me all along” is an inspiring read to anyone who has battled with weight loss and emotional eating.
